1. Who runs the service
BestInvestor is run by the founders of BestInvestor. It is not a registered company. Contact: joakim@bestinvestor.se.
2. A free service in beta
BestInvestor is free to use and is in open beta. Features may change, and the service may occasionally be unavailable.
3. Simulated capital only
No real money is invested. Portfolios use simulated capital, and predictions involve no stake.
4. Not financial advice
Predictions, portfolios, ratings and forum posts on BestInvestor are not financial advice. Past results do not predict future results.
5. Your record is public
Your username, predictions and results are published on your public performance record, including wrong predictions. See the Privacy Policy.
6. Accounts and age
You must be 16 or older to create an account. One account per person.
7. Acceptable use
Don’t create multiple accounts, manipulate leaderboards or contests, harass others, or post illegal, abusive or misleading content. You can report posts and users with the report button. We may remove content and suspend accounts that break these rules.
8. Missing market data and settled results
Predictions settle against closing prices. If no market data is available for a prediction for 30 days, it is voided automatically and does not count. Once a prediction has settled, the result is final.
9. Your content
Content you post stays yours. You allow us to show it within the service.
10. Liability
The service is provided as it is, free of charge. We are not responsible for decisions you make based on anything you see on BestInvestor, to the extent the law allows.
11. Deleting your account
You can delete your account at any time in Settings. This deletes your account and your data.
12. Changes
We may update these terms. We will announce significant changes in the app.
13. Law
Swedish law applies.
