Contest rules

The contests are run by the founders of BestInvestor. BestInvestor is not a registered company.

Entry is free. No purchase or stake is required, and you cannot pay to improve your chances.

Anyone with a BestInvestor account (16 or older) can take part. Prizes are only paid to members aged 18 or older. If a winner is under 18, the prize passes to the next eligible member in that contest’s ranking.

SEK 1,000 to rank 1 in each contest, each month. Other places receive no prize.

Winners are the members ranked 1 when the month ends. At least one settled prediction is needed to qualify for Prediction Champion. If two members have the same prediction score, the one with the higher Rating ranks higher. The Portfolio Champion ranking has no automatic tie-break; if two portfolios finish on exactly the same value, we will explain how the tie is settled before paying the prize.

Simulated portfolios reset on the 1st of each month. The month’s results are kept in the history.

We contact winners by email within 14 days of the month ending to confirm their age and arrange payment. Winners are responsible for any tax due on their prize.

We may withhold a prize or disqualify a member who breaks these rules or the terms of use. This includes using multiple accounts or manipulating the contest. Questions: joakim@bestinvestor.se.
